About halfway up Vietnam's coast, a little way south of the city of Danang, picturesque Hoi An was once a major port. Now it's one of the best-preserved in the country, and the Old Town is a Unesco World Heritage site. Its other notable feature is the mass of tailors, one of whom made us some very nice clothes indeed for a ridiculously low price (by our standards). Sadly, it was still very damp and misty, so many of these photos are on the poor and dark side. We then called briefly at the Museum of Cham Sculpture in Danang before going on to Hué.
